The Castillo Landing resides on a spacious & gated property nestled among the tall, beautiful, pine trees of Big Bear. The enclosed property provides peace of mind for kids & dogs & has lots of outdoor space for your enjoyment, including:

– A large fenced-in front yard for the kids to explore & play
– A nice little sitting deck off the side to enjoy a cup of coffee & watch the squirrels or read a book
– A separate dog play area with a dog house and a fire hydrant for the pooches..
– And an enclosed (separate) backyard to enjoy grilling, playing some yard games, hanging in the spa & making memories!

This is a two-story home, with 3 bedrooms & 1 full, remodeled bathroom upstairs. Two upstairs bedrooms include queen sized beds & the third includes a full.

Downstairs we have an open concept kitchen, living & dining area, with a cute & cozy breakfast nook off the kitchen leading to the backyard, with a built-in coffee station & dog fueling station.

On the reverse side of the kitchen we have a laundry space with a washer & dryer, 1 full bathroom with a jetted spa-bath & separate shower & a NEW game room! The game room includes a pull-out sofa with a queen mattress for additional sleeping space.

And last, but certainly not least, recliner sofas & a wood-burning fireplace oven in the living room set the perfect cozy scene for relaxing at the cabin!

High speed WiFi access is provided (200 mbps / download) along with lots of plugs & USB ports for charging devices.

Brand new Smart TVs are located in all bedrooms upstairs, the living room & the game room & all come equip with Amazon Firesticks. Netflix and Disney+ is included. Additional apps for sports & entertainment are provided, but must be signed into.

Our NEW indoor game room includes a foosball table, 2 retro arcade game consoles, and plenty of board games, card games & puzzles for your entertainment needs, along with a few outdoor yard games, and a few toys for the tiny tots as well!

At the Castillo Landing Cabin, we do our best to provide our guests with everything you need to make you feel at home & have the best trip possible.  The following are a few of the additional amenities we provide:

• Linens, including pillows & blankets, towels & bath mats are all cleaned fresh & provided.
• Both bathrooms come with all of the necessities, including: shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, lotion & toilet paper & 1 hair dryer for both.
• Kitchen appliances include an oven, stove, microwave, toaster over & dishwasher for cooking.
• Other small kitchen appliances provided include: a Keruig, a blender, and a hand mixer.
• The kitchen also comes stocked with an array of pots & pans, bakeware, silverware, dish-ware, glassware, utensils & tools, along with a few kid-friendly items as well.
• We also leave a few dry ingredients including various spices and cooking oils as well.
• Lastly, the washer & dryer is available for use & laundry detergent & dryer sheets are provided.

Central heating IS available, via a Nest thermostat. The thermostat is available to guests for temperature control, but it may also be monitored by the host to ensure temperatures do not dip below a certain threshold during colder winter months.

A fireplace with a wood-burning oven is available for guest use & fire-starters are provided for each nights stay.  Wood must be brought in by guests.

Like most homes here in Big Bear though, there is NO central air conditioning, but the shaded location of the cabin & the provided ceiling fans help keep things cool & comfortable in the warmer summer months.
